Mix It Up! KitchenAid Mixer Giveaway!

Mixer for giveaway post

When looking back on the regrets of my life, there aren’t very many . . . but one of the bigger ones that will unfortunately stand out was selling my KitchenAid mixer right before we moved into the house we bought back in Maine.  I’d coveted those mixers for as long as I could remember and practically wept with joy when I bought one for myself. Growing up, my mom’s KitchenAid was an ever-present fixture on the kitchen counter. I can remember knowing that if I could hear the whir of the mixer, it meant good things were coming, good things that would soon be in my tummy! Despite having it, I used a smaller electric handheld mixer more often. I’d only had my KitchenAid for a year and used it a handful of times, but loved it.

So when we moved, despite my fondness for the mixer, I sold it.  I know I know, I can hear your groans and sounds of utter disgust all the way over here.  Believe me, once we were done with the kitchen remodel on the house, there was nothing, absolutely nothing I wanted more than my mixer on that counter. I had the perfect spot for it. After spending all the money renovating the kitchen and other parts of our former home, I just couldn’t reconcile myself with spending quite so much for a mixer so I just kicked myself (repeatedly, and am still kicking myself) and said, “One of these days Audrey, one of these days, you’ll have another one!”  I’m not sure how many years are supposed to go by before I’ve earned the right to buy another one, but my friendships in the blogosphere are going to make a certain someone out there, maybe someone like me, someone who really wants a KitchenAid mixer, very very happy!  I’m really blessed to be part of such an awesome blogging community, and together with 9 other brilliant women, we are hosting a giveaway for a brand new, beautiful KitchenAid mixer!

I can’t wait to hear what you’ll make with your brand new, shiny KitchenAid mixer!

Psssst . . . you can always send me a little something you make with your wicked-cool new KitchenAid mixer.  You know, like cookies, or a cake, or Belgian Waffle cookies (I may or may not have just discovered these little buttery pieces of Heaven and may or may not have eaten an entire box of them . . . but probably not, although quite possibly yes.) or just anything your wonderful little hear desires.

Psssst . . . No, you don’t have to send me anything you’ve made with your brand-spanking new sparkly KitchenAid mixer.  I mean, not unless you really want to. I wouldn’t say no.
