......Casey!
We'd like you all to meet the latest member of our AmeriBrit family, Casey. He is an 11-week old Goldendoodle whom we are all madly in love with.
We have decided, for the time being, that a Newfie is not quite suitable for us...so we went with our second choice, a hybrid which doesn't shed, is almost totally hypoallergenic and just about the cutest darned thing on the face of the earth.
Gareth and I had been talking about either a Labradoodle or Goldendoodle some months back, but Gareth couldn't get over the "doodle" part. For those that don't know, a Goldendoodle is a Poodle/Golden Retriver mix. Casey is an F1, meaning that he came straight from a Poodle sire and a Golden Retriever dam.
Goldendoodles are wonderful with kids, highly intellegent, easy to train and just all around lovable. And we couldn't be happier. Casey is going to be a big boy as well as his parents are huge. He was the largest and lightest of the litter as well. They come in a variety of colours, even black but we wanted either a blonde doodle or a very fair doodle and when we went to look at the litter from a local breeder last weekend, we just knew Casey was meant for us.
I have tons of other cute pics but I have reached my limit when it comes to sitting, and am pretty exhausted. I'll either post the rest tomorrow or have Gareth upload them.
