I have no excuse. Well, I take that back. I just wanted what was best for Casey, to be able to see his freaking food and water dish, is that such a bad thing? I had the best intentions in mind.
See what I'm talking about? This was on Tuesday night.
For some reason this pic kinda makes him look like a mutant Bison Frise, but he's all Goldendoodle, all 75lbs and STILL growing!
Well, you know what they say about good intentions...if they were horses the streets would be lined with horse shit.
I'm not a pet groomer by any stretch of the imagination. But I thought to myself; "Self, how hard could it be to trim just a wee bit of hair around Casey's eyes which would enable the poor dear to see?" And the Goldendoodle book I have (which I threw across the room about ten minutes ago), and the very informative web site had step-by-step instructions on how to go about this, safely.
Oh hush, I didn't maim my dog.
It's just that the he kinda looks...well, how do I put this? Hmmm, oh hell, alright, he looks like he has one HUGE eye and one teeny one. It's not even. It's not anywhere close to even. It's like totally off the charts UNEVEN.
I'd take a photo but one of you would probably report me to the ASPCA.
