I've been such a bad blog hostess lately. I completely forgot about the Keurig Platinum Brewing System/$50 VISA gift card contest. And I owe everyone who entered a huge apology.
Part of the contest that could have awarded you 5 extra entries was to write a blog post about your favorite charity/humanitarian organization/non profit group and why it's so near and dear to your heart. Once you've posted, come back here and link up in the Mr. Linky that will (I hope!) appear at the bottom of this post. That Mr. Linky entry is the key to your FIVE contest entries. Nowhere in the body of your post did you have to mention this contest.
Well, initially Mr. Linky appeared and I know that there were at least two links to posts. I read the posts but sadly didn't bookmark them because I assumed Mr. Linky would stay put. I'm not sure what happened, but it didn't work out that way and those links along with the entire Mr. Linky box are gone. I feel absolutely horrible about this. I realized this happened when I was putting together the list of names to go into the pot, to be drawn...the links were gone and so were those additional chances to win. I think this is patently unfair to those who went the extra mile and wrote those posts. For the life of me I can't remember who they were.

Again, I am so sorry for my own lack of oversight on this. If I'd been paying more attention this might not have happened, or gone on for so long. Me+Contests=EPIC FAIL!
In light of Mr. Linky vanishing and my own ineptitude at managing a giveaway, I have extended the contest through August 1st, 2009 at 11:59PM. Also, because I botched this up so horribly, every person has been given an extra entry.
This is probably a bad time to announce another gift card giveaway, huh? But I'm going to anyhow. During the month of October I'm going to be giving away either a $300 Target or WalMart gift card. I can't make up my mind. I'm tempted to go with the WalMart gift card because I know a lot of WalMarts are SuperStores and thereby the gift card might go a little further. I can say unequivocally that Mr. Linky will have absolutely NO part of that giveaway.
